Here is where you let your leisure goes by serenely and memorably. Imagine you are walking barefoot along the beach in the morning appreciating daybreak and sea breeze, or lying lazily in a hammock in the shade of coconut palms with a good book, or playing water sport like swimming and diving. In the night, if you are not too tired to have more fun, you can go out to our beach bar on Haad Rin and come back to watch falling stars at the balcony before going to sleep in your warm cozy bed. This should be enough to make you forget weariness from loads of work from the past whole year.
Don't go back home without a story of the nightlife in Koh Phangan. Full moon party is one the biggest beach party event in the world. There are now over 10 major of sound systems on the beach playing everything from drum and bass to psy-trance which each one representing a different genre. Crowd size vary from around 8,000 in low season getting up to 30,000 in the high season
For those who just want to take a look and get the feeling of the full moon party, you just need to cut across the hill of Haad Rin peninsula which is only 5 minutes walk from the resort to the party / Haad Rin area and all the beach clubs
The beach bars in Haad Rin open daily from dusk till dawn (not on big Buddha day). There is variety music and you can choose to spend your night in one of the club here.
For travelers who arrive to Koh Phangan before or after the full moon period, there are several parties around the month. Koh Phangan people have many good ways to celebrate our moon. No matter if the moon is round, black, half, quarter or whatever, we do celebrate. You can find the black moon party, the half moon festival, the Shiva moon party, the pool party and all after party for those parties….sounds fun. So all in all, there is a party every 3 nights in Koh Phangan and you’ll never get bored if you are the party animal.
Black moon culture & Half moon festival are becoming one of the leading parties of Koh Phangan, they are around 15 minutes away from the resort by taxi and you can get a taxi from Haad Rin Chicken corner.
I just came back from my holidays at Koh Pha-ngan. The beach, sea, full moon party and people look the same, but I feel different... Even it was just a few days I stayed here, at Sarikantang, but I can feel the hospitality ,warm welcome and happiness
